Changes to my study programme



About my study programme, i think that is necessary change some areas of knowledge, for example; we have: Biological basis for health promotion, prevention and education, Physics for Clinical Practice, among others most related with the career like; Skills development and self-care for professional practice, Anatomical Basis, etc. But we need take subjects with the focus at the start, or perform a levelling course with advance.

The workload in my opinion is excessive because they waiting that us learn everything in a short time, but this is impossible if you think in a normal person with family, work and other worries most important than that.
Sometimes i need going to my house only at study, i can't see at my family for hours, although they stay there. In baccalaureate that was not better, but i think that when you study something you must have fun so.


But, for the other side the length of the studies should not be a problem, because the programs are “versatile” but in the reality that is not like this. i criticise that in odontology because we have not the possibility to curse a subject that you have failed in the same year, due to is necessary more personal (majority of people are on holidays in that dates, in my opinion is a bad excuse to justified lack of personnel).


The good thing about all is the buildings and infrastructure, you can have places to study or have lunch, so is little but still it is comforting. Anyway, i going to the others faculties to study with more calmly and more places to read, have lunch, rest among others.

About the use of technology, i think that odontology have technology but not enough, could be more and better. For example in baccalaureate every pupil have one microscope to study and learning in the better way possible. The downside with odontology is that for groups we have one microscope or various instruments, which do not allow that each of us learn for himself.  
At the end, the teaching methods not ever are the best, because many teachers are not really teachers, each of them are doctors but don`t have the desire to teach, nor passion for teaching. I think that this need a change, we need people to be interested in others and their problems, people that search answers and want to change the actual system for the future generations.

    The workload it's indeed excesive, I don't think that studying 24/7 is healthy in any way

In university, learn english is different that one expected. For example in english courses showed in TV. In the first, one thinks that is with books and structured classes, but is not really a true. When we had the first class i was astonished because i didn't understand almost anything. Sincerely i have a low english level, because the most that i know is thanks to my family and their desire to learn by listening music, reading, watching movies, etc. About blogs, i think that was an interesting experience, it is like a diary when you write how you feel about some topic, it sounds good express yourself in another language, criticize that you don't like or comment things, facts about personal experiences. My favourite animal

Hi everyone :) First of all, i don't have a only favourite animal because i like so many animals, so for me it's difficult choose one. I like giraffes, crocodiles, dogs and owls, but today i'm going to talk about owls.  Owls are bird from the order strigiformes, which includes about 200 species of mostly solitary and nocturnal birds of prey typified by an upright stance, a large, broad head, binocular vision, sharp talons, and feathers adapted for silent flight. My future job...

Thinking in my future i'm still undecided about what i want to do respect to my life. I like so much dentistry. Day by day i feeling more motivated to learn about patients, treatments and others things about university degree. Sometimes I think about how difficult it was to get in and how much I like in the present. But it´s difficult choose in what i can specialize me, there are many opportunities, for example oral and maxillofacial pathology, surgery, radiology, geriatric dentistry, endodontics, oral implantology, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontology, forensic odontology even veterinary dentistry. However i would like to travel a lot, to get to know other countries and cultures, travel to Japan, Poland, London, Brazil among others, and travel around my country. either from business trips or holiday trips.
